Moving again

Fri Jan 6, 2006, 4:11 AM
Wow I haven't check DA for a really long time. I've been busy with other things. Short update:

I'm moving to Philadelphia, so all you Phillians on here, here I come. I will only be there for about six months, then I will be back here.
I'm moving for my job, I am starting to travel for them.

I've still been taking pictures, but just haven't done anything with them yet. I have about 200 saved in my camera. Gosh so many things to do.

I'll update more later.

Sorry

Tue Aug 16, 2005, 3:11 PM
I'm mostly saying sorry to myself. Since I've been back from Florida I've lost all inspiration to take pics. The quality in my eyes has gone down. I finally picked up my camera last weekend and snapped a couple shots. Soon to find out when we moved I misplaced my USB cord, so I can't upload them. Soon though I promise something good will come from me. I hope.

We are getting settled in the new place just fine. All unpacked just need to get some more art work for the living room, kitchen and bathroom. Everyone seems to enjoy it. We had a few get togethers last weekend. Was fun...realized that a few of my friends are great friends. I care for them and wish the best. Friday I was very anti-social, did alot of thinking. Saturday to my surprise was really fun, and no one got arrested ha. Poor Richie didn't know he had a warrent the night before. Cop drove by he was standing near the street, did a random check, that was that...sucks. Cassie had her 19th birthday, congratulations to her.

Our friend Laura is getting married on Sept 11th...Not to sure about this...No one is. I also wish the best to her. Heather is throwing her a bachelorette party sometime this month with sex toys and dancing at the club. Probably won't go because neither are my thing. I would rather go to a bachelor party...ha. I think she registered at Target, that will be easy.

And to hurt Do you like to hurt? 'Cause I do I do I do This didn't hurt me---

Moved

Tue Aug 2, 2005, 2:24 PM
We finally got moved into our new place. It is sooo nice. We decided against the new furniture from JC Penny and went with this really nice sectional from Cohens. It comes in on Friday so until then we have to sit on the floor. Our old furniture is in our basement, which we turned into the "hang out" area. We also got a new entertainment center which we are picking up Saturday. We have this big side yard where we are going to play baseball and kickball in and have cookouts. So far I really like living in Bettendorf.

As for school I just received something in the mail about the classes. I am really reconsidering the field of work I'm going into because I'm against some of the things in my anatomy class. Hopefully things will work out because this is only a temporary degree until I save enough money to go for what I really want...

The dinners have been going great, I'm lucky to have friends that love to eat. Dmitriy's cooking is wonderful, even though I don't think I've ate it the last two weeks. ha. Cutlets=gross.

Jaime's birthday was last weekend...We went out to her bonfire but had to leave because Tara and Heather got in a car accident and we had to go pick them up. I took Tara to the hospital and I spent my Saturday night there, I'm just glad they are both okay. The weekend before that we had our last party at our old place. It was pretty fun, no one got to trashed, I don't think.

Also last weekend my family came in town from Atlanta! I was so happy to see my cousin and his family. I never got to meet his daughter yet and she's seven. I hung out with them at my grandma's, played around with the kids in the backyard. They thought it was so cool to go out in the fields and pick the corn since they don't have it back home...so they picked it and ate it for breakfast. I wish they were around more often.

you've poisoned all of your children to camouflage your scars
pray unto the splinters, pray unto your fear
pray your life was just a dream
the cut that never heals---

Happy Fourth

Thu Jul 7, 2005, 3:29 PM
I hope that everyone had a happy and safe fourth. That weekend was pretty crazy for me. Friday night we ended up having a party over here. Saturday night we went to a party at Josh's for his birthday. Then on Sunday we went to Crystal's fourth party. We had our own fireworks show and of course Crystal's boobs. I don't know what it is about her and her husband but they don't like to stay clothed. Somehow by the end of the night we all ended up playing spin the bottle. Ha haven't played that or even thought of it since like Jr High. It was pretty funny.

We bought new furniture last week...new chenelle matching couch and chair. Very nice, I'm really getting excited, I believe we move three weeks from today. I hope that living with the riches will be okay. They are more strict about what goes on but I think we will be okay since everyone has to stay in the basement.

I am going to meet with another advisor for school sometime soon. School starts in about two months. My mom is giving me this packet with all the different degree programs in it. Hopefully I can find one to choose from. Pretty much I can't wait to graduate from school, so I'm really motivated to go this time. After I graduate I plan on moving and after my life gets settled with a new job I'm going to adopt a kid from somewhere. I want to adopt as much as I can, so the sooner I can stablize the sooner I can get to work helping children by giving them a loving home.

Water balloon fights and fireworks are a great mix.

Hot

Wed Jun 29, 2005, 1:14 PM
Ahh it is really hot outside. Last weekend we went to the air show and we only stayed for about two hours before it got too much. It was fun though, I'm really proud of Heidi for going. I've been to alot of really good cookouts too. There is nothing better than a burned hotdog from the grill. That reminds me I need to go to a Swing game soon. Other then that been keeping busy with friends and work.

We put a deposit down on this duplex we found. It's in Bettendorf and of course since it's in Bett it's nice. The only thing that sucks about it is the price of living is so much more expensive there due to all the rich kids. It's three levels of spacious living and we are turning the basement into a chill/party area. If anyone has any ideas we are open to suggestions...thinking about putting a bar down there or something ha.

Our friends Ashley and Kara both have cats and well they decided to mate and now there are kittens! Most definitely adding one more to our collection. Exciting.

For those who know us...We are helping this girl from work collect shoes for children in countries less fortunate than ours. Some don't agree with this ( I call it ignorance ) but if you are willing to help..that would be awesome and much appreciated.

Tonight we are going to Summers first birthday party. Cassie invited us all over to hang out with her. We got her this really cute Nemo shirt with matching skirt and this game to help her learn her numbers, colors and so on. It'll be cute then we are going to have cake.

I live vicariously through your frowns and smiles.
